General Description
The Academy’s grounds cover approximately fifteen acres and are bounded by a wrought-iron fence and energy barrier. A straight driveway terminates in a circle before the entry to the school, which stands five stories above ground and is built from a smooth glass-like material (resistant to projectile, energy, and psionic attacks). The main entrance is a simple "glass" double-door fronting a rotunda, facing south. The security system has a psychological and biological scanning interface.
Location in Rhydin
The New Hellions Academy of RhyDin is located at Frost Manor a few miles outside of Rhydin City, off the main road.
Main Building
The entryway to the school is a dark and transparent glass rotunda. A few steps beyond is a spacious reception area, a cherry-wood desk on the right side near the rotunda, behind which three doors are closed, and usually locked. To the left of that, sunken about two feet into the floor, is a fireplace, several overstuffed chairs covered in dark leather, and low tables.
The reception area opens into a room about the size of a small theatre, at the centre of which is an atrium encased in glass, a full five stories high and open to the sky. A variety of exotic (read: mutated) plants and animals live in this atrium. Behind the atrium, a bank of three elevators and the North Dining Hall can be reached. A short hallway is spawned from this room on either side, allowing access to different wings of the complex.
Ground Floor
- SouthEast Wing: Student Access area of the holographic training room called the "PiT oF HeLL".
- NorthEast Wing: guest quarters and entry-level student quarters are found.
- SouthWest Wing: classrooms.
- NorthWest Wing: kitchens and the indoor pool.
Second Floor
- NorthEast Wing: first of floor of the library - takes up a full quarter of the building.
- SouthEast Wing: General Access area to the PiT oF HeLL and two recreation rooms.
- West Wing: General Students' quarters
Third Floor
- NorthEast Wing: second floor of the library.
- SouthEast Wing: Instructor's Access (restricted) area to the PiT oF HeLL is found, along with administrator's offices.
- West Wing: Advanced Student's quarters, instructor's quarters, and administrative quarters.
Fourth Floor
- Emma's office and quarters. Yes, they take up an entire floor.

Students
All students were expected to abide by the Academy’s requirements to renounce prior allegiances. They engaged in daily rigorous (and dangerous) training and study in order to perfect their ability to further the interests of the Academy and its associates. However, not all were up to the challenging curriculum, and many did not survive to graduate.

History
The New Hellions Academy of RhyDIn was founded in June of 1996 by EmmaFR0ST. to provide an environment conducive to the survival of the fittest and oversee the training of Rhydin’s gifted and powerful, regardless of their race or age. It operated for nearly two years before Damon Winters, headmaster pro tempore, retired.
