Appearance
Long and lean, Isuelt DeRomiano is a woman to be recognized and reckoned with. Dressed from head to toe in black leather, save the crimson sash at her waist. Her dark hair, usually pulled back into a tight braid, falls to mid-back; her eyes, a matching chocolate hue, remain vigilant and ever-aware.
Physical assessment
Her muscled physique has baited many men into contests of strength. Her unnatural ability to hold her alcohol also elicits similar responses. Whether she is drinking them under the table, or arm wresting them on the table, Isuelt's wits, muscles and stomach have yet to let her down.
Identifying features
Like all Scathachians, she possesses two tattoos: A pair of crossed blades on the back of her right hand, and the Scales of Justice on her left. However, the Scales of Justice tattoo is no longer recognizable, instead the back of her left hand is scarred from a burn and lets only a hint of the design show through the charred remnants of the tattoo. There are also various marks from battles over her body, particularly, one mean-looking gashed scar across her midsection and another along her left shoulder. Her wrists and forearms bear the evidence of no fewer than two suicide attempts.
Inventory and equipment
As all Scathachians are, Isuelt was trained in double swords, the chakram, and the bow; she has chosen the blades as her signature weapons.
Armor
Scathachian battle armor is worn only on the field of battle. Its make-up is lighter in weight than traditional armor to provide for ease of movement and consists only of a form-fitted breast plate and chain mail apron.
Weapons
Isuelt is perpetually flanked by the twin blades at her hips as well as several well-placed daggers: both boots posses a trick heel that produces a three-inch blade from the tip of the toe, a slender blade is kept in the leather restraint of her corset between her breasts, and a second dagger is worn on right side of her belt, just in front of her right sword.
Personality and traits
Usually easy-going, Isuelt's temper can run hot if she's provoked or irritated. Irritation can run the gamut from some fool hitting on her to one of her Sisters having a run-in with an enemy. It's also fairly well known that her mood can swing to either side of the spectrum when she's drinking...which is pretty much always. Her sense of humor is sharp, to say the least. And sarcasm? She employs it almost exclusively.

Training, education and skills
Isuelt’s education is not usual by any means, she was taken to the Island of Shadow just before her ninth birthday and trained in the ways of Scathach. Therefore, she does lack a certain understanding of some “worldly” issues such as technology and magic; she is quite untrusting of both of these. She possesses the ability to read and reason and has been valued for her capacity to analyze a given situation. Isuelt also has a basic knowledge of using herbs and other derivatives for medicinal purposes. She is highly skilled at both knife throwing (since her days traveling with a gypsy caravan), and her second weapon of choice: the garrote.

Biography
Childhood
Born Isuelt Blywthe in a modest village by Po'ert Sound, she was the youngest of five and the only daughter. Her father was a miller, her mother was a weaver, with each of her four older brothers growing up to become members of the King's army. With role-models of this nature, it was only natural for young Isuelt, called Isuelt by her family, to want to follow her brothers and join the King's army, herself. However, not only was it uncommon for a woman to be in service to the King by means of battle, it was forbidden. Still, amid the jeering and teasing from her brothers, Isuelt pretended that she was a King's soldier. The eldest of her brothers, Willac, took a benevolent stance on his little sister's dreams and let her be his sparring partner on occasion. He never fought with full strength against young Isuelt, until one day she bested him, landing him flat on his back. Willac noticed his sister's uncanny athletic ability and secretly aided her in furthering her athletic prowess; he often bade her practice in the woods in privacy, where none would discover her forbidden talents. Unknown to Isuelt or Willac, however, these woods were not so private. Isuelt was being watched by a Priestess of Scathach. The Scathachian watched the girl for nearly seven months as she witnessed her natural speed, strength and agility grow even in that short time. It was during one of these clandestine sessions in the woods not too far from her village, that Isuelt noticed thick, black smoke rising from that direction. Hurrying back, she witnessed a devastation that haunts her dreams even in the present. An enemy King, Gareth III, had planned an attack that started with the outlying villages, they were to leave none alive. Isuelt, who was a month short of her ninth birthday stumbled through her village until she reached her home. Inside, she found two of her brothers and her father with their throats slit and their hands removed. As if in a trance, she wondered to her parents' room where she then saw her mother on the bed, naked, with her throat slit as well. With tears streaming down her face, she ran outside to learn that her other two brothers had been killed in the following battle at the main gate at the King's keep. Wanting more than anything to escape the stench of blood and death around her, Isuelt ran into the forest, her only sanctuary. It was then that the Scathachian made her presence known, taking the orphaned child with her back to the Scathachian training grounds, the Island of Shadow.
Adulthood
Her training on the Island of Shadow lasted nearly 15 years. Within that time, Isuelt's expertise with traditional Scathachian weapons was honed and perfected. The bow, chakram, and dual blades, the last of which became her favorites. She earned the title of "Blade Master" just before her 20th birthday. Upon her initiation, she was christened with the name, "Illea." This would now be her name in all aspects of the work she would do in Scathach's name. All Scathachians were "renamed" in this fashion. As she completed her training, the newly ordained Priestess of Scathach had only one thing on her mind: revenge. The difficult task that she assigned herself was to find any remaining members of King Gareth's armies and execute them, Scathachian style. She felt that that would give her family's ghosts, as well as her, some peace. In the few years that followed, she did find several remaining members of that enemy army from so long ago; and as she promised herself, she beheaded them and took their hands. Instead of peace, however, Isuelt next felt a desire to continue in her vigilante work, as so many of her Scathachian sisters had before her. She became a sword for hire, fighting for those who could not fight for themselves. To protect her anonymity, she used the name Illea for her dealings with clients. It was then that she was hired to kill a gypsy male, named Merry DeRomiano. However, instead of scouting him out to kill him, Isuelt found herself falling in love with the rogue. Luckily, he fell for her just as hard. The two were married within the year and shared two years of happiness before Merry was killed in battle by General Gothicus of the Circle of the 9 Hells. Isuelt then returned to the Island of Shadow even more bitter and more broken than she was when she arrived the first time. She stayed in solitude there until her vengeance got the worst of her. Dressed only in black, she left the Island once more for the outside world, this time ending up in Metro City. A brash and dangerous place, the jaded gypsy (as she was "adopted" by her husband's caravan) felt right at home. She fell in with a group of ruffians who called themselves the Wolfpack. In reality, they were nothing more than thugs, thieves and murderers; Isuelt had found her new family. She became one of their top assassins, she taunted and killed for the sheer sport of it. It was here that she earned the nickname, "Nails." They claimed she was tough as...both for enduring her past tragedies and carrying out her numerous assignments. The Pack's leader, Scorpion Wraitharan, held Isuelt in especially high regard, both for her talent with a blade and her talent in bed. Scorp and Isuelt were quipped as "the power behind the Pack, with greed as their wedding vow."
Present
Currently, Isuelt resides in Rhydin along the Northwest cliffs at the Scathachian Sanctuary. She is more settled there than she has been in sometime. As more Scathachians arrive to aid with the management and protection of the city and its notorious West End, Isuelt is able to reaffirm her life’s calling as a Judge. She has also been given the opportunity to reunite with Scorpion Wraitharan.

Factoids
- Isuelt is an alcoholic, though she consciously battles this vice everyday.
- She has also been placed under suicide watch by the Priestesses on the Island of Shadow (after the death of her husband), and Scorpion Wraitharan (during her stay in Metro).
- Isuelt was employed by Scorpion Wraitharan as a top assassin for a number of years.
- Although she tries to keep her personal relationship status under wraps, Scorpion Wraitharan is the closest thing she's found to a match. Although his time is chiefly spent in Metro, she has been known to filter in and out of his life (and his bed) sporadically.

- Isuelt DeRomiano was created in 1996, based on another character played by the same mun (Druantia Taliesin) at the Crossroads Tavern on AOL. Her original inception was as a harpist and a falconer. By 2003, Isuelt was her own character, completely free of any of Druantia Taliesin's similarities or traits. The concept of the Scathachians was started in 2001 and completed by 2003.
