Appearance
G is average height for a Rhydinian at 6'2" and sexy. He always appears to be well groomed and decently dressed. Generally he wears a light colored dress shirt and black pants when he's just lounging around. When he's in the Arena on regular evenings, he'll wear something along the lines of a loose fitting silk shirt and something similar in black pants. When dueling for a Baronial title, whether defending or challenging, he wears the above plus standard leather armor. He has no visible scars and has sharp "bedroom" eyes and a witty smile in place most of the time. His hair is a dark red that used to hang well below his shoulders until he decided to go for a more trim professional look.
Physical assessment
Strong, charming. He has above average stamina and is fairly athletic. Years of fighting in the arena and dueling leagues plus extra-curricular activities have built up his energy levels to sustain him for long periods of time. He doesn't appear grossly muscular, but definitely not on the skinny side.
Identifying features
Light beard which is a bit more than a 5 o'clock shadow, flowing red hair that's kept well trimmed.
Inventory and equipment
Cloak, and a Bag of Holding that keeps many useful objects. Has this at all times. There will be times he will have either a torque or pendant that are designed to make mind reading improbable. Otherwise, he'll just be as is. The Bag of Holding is important because it contains many non everyday items that can be used at a moments notice for numerous issues. Instant death dealing items are quite unlikely.
Armor
When wearing bland armor for non-ceremonial occasions, it's his standard leather armor. When it's for a real battle, war, ceremonial or other important events, he wears dragon hide armor specially made from the skins of three dragons he assisted in slaying during his adventuring days. The dragons were a Red, Blue and Shadow dragon. The Blue and Shadow dragon colors are the basis for the Company of the Dragon dueling club.
Weapons
Three weapons always on him.
- 1. Flint lock pistol.
- 2. Elven sword affectionately named "Minx." "Borrowed" from a poor Elven soul.
- 3. Rapier Wit.
Other weapons that he's used in the past, still has, and occasionally uses:
- War Hammer "Skuld the DeBugger"
- Scimitar of Speed
- Vorpal Longsword
- Pair of Daggers
- Rapier
Personality and traits
If there were a "Reveal Alignment" spell cast upon him, it'd likely register him as Neutral Evil. Somewhat egotistical, loyal to his friends, greedy, and most certainly a con man. He also is somewhat miserly with his finances, always seeking to gain more yet looking to give out as little as possible. Tends to consider the Elven race in general somewhat weak, even though he recognizes that individual Elves can stand above the rest and be better than the race as a whole. Considers Undead creatures such as Zombies, Mummies, Skeletons, Vampires, Ghosts, Liches, etc. to be undesirables. Intelligent undead are among the least trustworthy in the lot.
Mannerisms
Rubs his chin and chuckles a lot. When there's a woman present, he's usually smiling and flirting with her. Enjoys to be an object of attention, whether good or bad. Well known for contract negotiations that benefit him above all else, though still favorable to the one signing the contract.

Training, education and skills
Trained as a master thief in his youth, he joined the original "Company of the Dragon" mercenary group. Through the process of adventuring with these people, his skills with a sword improved dramatically, as well did his wealth, as they were a successful band. It was through this group that he first gained a Sloop, in which he learned how to sail. Not long after this, he turned his attention towards Privateering and having success there as well. It wasn't long before he gained several ships from these forays into pirating and his business sense only improved with his desire to profit. Ships were sold, land was gained, and soon, a black market business was thriving. Mostly every skill he has learned has come from practical experience, common sense, and on the job training.
Combat
Accomplished sword fighter. Learning mostly during his adventuring days and fine tuned during his tenure in the Dueling Arena. Recently he took to honing his skills in hand to hand combat in the Outback fighting venue. G'nort has also gained valuable experience in the art of ship to ship combat on the open seas.
Spellbook
While G'nort does not subscribe to the magical arts, he had actually learned a few simple cantrips which any person with any amount of intelligence can gain. These are mainly only useful in minor day to day events, such as lighting a cigar, summoning a drink, or cleaning a stain from a shirt. He also hardly ever uses this ability beyond the privacy of his own home, and rarely even then. The main reason for this is he judges magic to be unpredictable and beneath him.
Other
As previously stated, G'nort was trained as a master thief in his youth. These skills include but are not limited to Lock picking, disarming traps, pick pocketing, breaking and entering, avoiding detection, sneaking, and climbing sheer surfaces.
Biography
On May 25, 1996, G'nort Set up camp in the land of Rhydin, being the victim of the Almighty Nexus. After adventuring for a while in Rhydin, he found the Arena and started engaging in sword combat there. He rose from the rank of Commoner to Warlord in approximately 6 months, and is a currently a many time Baron. After traveling by sea one vacation, he became Ruler of the large Island Nation of Urnst, proclaimed King(A title he barely recognizes) and was given power over the land and people in a long, drawn out, odd story. In any case, the Island Nation of Urnst is the land he rules. He is the CEO of HDT Enterprises, a corporation dedicated to Merchandising and Profiting. Holdings include the Golden Ivy Tavern, the Company of the Dragon Dueling Club, GnomCorp Laboratories, Fyren Refrigeration Services, Fytco Toy Corporation, and Choco-Coffee Ltd. HDT Enterprises is also responsible for "The Talanadome," an approximately 21,000 seat stadium. He has set up contracts with other teams for merchandising rights and production, and the Yearly Calendar with a woman on the CDR team tends to be a much anticipated and desired item.
Origin
Born in Trigole, in the Duchy of Urnst. Left home at a young age to seek his fortunes elsewhere. It wasn't long before he was found and tutored in the arts of thievery and soon found his services needed by an adventuring group. After years of adventuring, he made his way to Rhydin.
Present time
Currently, G'nort can be found either at his Golden Ivy Tavern, on his favorite ship; The SpellJammer, At the Marketplace Baronial Manor, or back on Urnst in his office or home. He is married to Kaja Adair-Dragoon-Talanador. He has Four children(that he knows about) with three different women, three daughters and one son. Twin girls Khisanthia and Khalla, another daughter, Adelie, and his only son and apparent heir, Locke Dragoon-Talanador with his first wife, Ariana. He has been married three times, twice to the same woman. He captains the Company of the Dragon club in the Team Dueling League, the team having been a member since the leagues inception. He is a Baron in the Duel of Swords(8 time) and recently gained the rank of Emerald in the Duel of Fists. He has no aspirations for either an Opal or the Overlord titles in either venue. He is also the founder of House Dragoon-Talanador.

Reputation
- "G is a terrible person~! He lied to me and let me think I had lost my pumpkinhead Jun forever~ That's so cruel~! I'll never forget what he did, and I'll never let him forget it either~!" -Elly (LL 21:14, 2 December 2007 (PST))
- Alysia Skye is charmed to have finally been introduced to the (g)notorious Gnort, but finds his name inspires vague unease and is not entirely sure why. (Alysia 12:42, 4 December 2007 (PST))
- "G? Well.. he's a better person than he pretends to be, I'm sure. He helps his friends. A lot. Other than that? Never, ever, under ANY circumstances sign ANYTHING he gives you. Unless you read it carefully. Twice. And have someone check it for magic invisible ink. And loop holes. And nudity clauses. There will certainly be nudity clauses... He's not a bad kisser, either, if he didn't kiss so many women so that you were all nervous about what he may have while you were kissing him.. You know, if G were a little younger and a little less married and a man whore, I could see myself being into him. But, actually, I've seen him as a goat. Yeah, no, I take that back..." Erin Dunbridge ((User:Dani 11:19, 4 December 2007 (CST) ))
- "You know, G'nort wouldn't be so bad if he didn't spend so much time talking about how great he is and attempting to defile the women I still have plans to defile. Which is pretty much all of them." Harris D'Artainian (Harris 15:57, 10 December 2007 (PST))
- "I can appreciate a person like G'nort; he understand what it means to be pleasing to others even if you despise them. Sometimes life isn't about who you like or don't like, it's about good business and getting ahead. And yeah, I signed one of his contracts but only because I knew it would benefit myself. That's the beauty of my relationship with G, we use each other. No, not in that way...get your mind out of the gutter." Jewell Ravenlock (Jewell 14:05, 28 December 2007 (EST))
- Lydia Loran thinks that G, while quite imperfect like anyone else, is actually a good guy. She's quite fond of him (platonically) and has a lot of trust for him. So much so, she even signed one of his infamous contracts! She does however, want to sometimes show him just how namby pamby it feels to be set on fire... (LL 17:04, 9 February 2008 (PST))
